AWAROA LOW TIDE CROSSING
Awaroa Inlet can only be crossed up to one and a half hours before low tide and up to two hours after it. (After heavy rain it may be impassable.)

If the tide forces you into making a very early crossing, you're in for a special treat - that's when Awaroa Inlet is at its most beautiful.

You will get wet feet when you cross. There's no avoiding it.
